With TJ Dillashaw's impressive performance against Renan Barao last night, where would this rank the Team Alpha Male member among the list of former TUF alum?

Dillashaw would be the fourth fighter in TUF history to claim a UFC title, following behind Matt Serra, Forrest Griffin and Rashad Evans.

Has he now entered that "class?"

I think he may be better than the former TUF champions.

We'll see if he can avenge the Assuncao decision.

You gotta think so. Some TUF guys end up relatively nowhere after the show, IMO any TUF fighter to claim a belt or even contend for one (i.e. Florian, Diaz, Sanchez) also belongs in a high TUF tier.

I'd place Dillashaw right up there though, how could you not?

1. Evans
2. Griffin
3. Dillashaw
4. Serra

If he defends he would be defacto #1 TUF prospect since none of the others defended.

Top 5 and if he defends, tho goat(of tuf alumni)

Way better than any previous TUF'ers. He just disposed of one the best fighters in the UFC. None of the other TUF'ers have done anything close except for Serra landing a shock bomb on GSP. Anyone think that TJ's win was a fluke?

I think Rashad is ahead by a ways at this point giving how long he's been at the top of the LHW division. TJ could possibly be the best to come from TUF hopefully he ca prove it. Crazy to think he didnt win it

1. Evans
2. Griffin
3. Dillashaw
4. Serra

I agree with this. If Dillashaw keeps racking up wins and title defenses against the best guys then he can get past Griffin rather quickly. Surpassing Evans would take longer, imo. Evans, Griffin, and Serra will all have had a larger impact on the sport when you go beyond numbers, though.

And the first TUF fighter that didn't win the show and got the belt

Rampage was top 3 P4P when Forrest took his title.

Dillashaw will not defend his title. WAR Assuncao!

If he had won the show you could make an argument for him already at #1 considering how highly regarded Barao was, but since he did not win the show I think that puts him behind Rashad, Forrest and Serra

if he defends I think he takes the top spot
