This is a worse mismatch than Maldonado vs Miocic.....Barao should be a 40:1 favorite......Dillashaw does not even have 10 freakin wins...... No wonder the UFC viewer ratings have been plummeting.....Come on man....
These posts seem to manifest every time there isn't a dominant contender waiting in line. It happens. You'll simply need to learn to deal with it.
Right, but those guys didn't get KTFO in the first round of their UFC debut. Also considering TJ is on a one fight win streak, this is pretty absurd. I really like Dillashaw but he's getting his title shot too early and he's clearly not a match for Barao right now - it would make more sense to let him work his way up appropriately. I suppose we can blame Cruz for being made of chicken bones and porcelain.
Come on man Cain had 9 and Lesnar had like 3.....At least Weidman was undefeated and Anderson was on the decline....Barao is in his prime and Dillashaw got smacked up in 10 seconds by Dodson
My gawd this thread again... The original main event was Weidman-Machida Barao and Dillashaw should be respected for stepping up to save the card. Also Assuncao is injured otherwise he would be the one fighting.
I think Dillashaw has a better shot than Assuncao. God knows what can happen. Still rooting for Barao as always.
point is, number of wins don't really mean anything and as others have stated many times b4, Assuncao would have got the shot if he were not injured.
No one else is ready or deserving. TJ is the highest ranked fighter that isn't occupied in one way or the other. He's also not Uriah Faber.
Who else should Barao fight? Should he have just stayed on the sidelines till the fall? This card needed multiple fights to pretty much save it. Barao/Dillishaw, Lawler/Ellenberger, DC/Hendo did the job.
