Obviously wasn't dozens, but 2 knees and that backfist would have at least dropped most guys in the division.Show me these fight ending strikes cory landed.

Uncle Chael I think. At least it was in some sort of thread I mocked last night. That’s not how it works, not sure where this myth started that you can take steroids and years later still have a benefit
He was pretty tired in the 5 round fight but push forward. Nothing you wouldn't be able to do naturally. He actually seemed like he was fighting clean to me. Nothing about that fight screams PEDs to me. He actually started slowing down early on in the fight. Age isn't such a factor that people think it is. Some of the marathon runners and triathlon top athletes are older and get their best times when they are older. Just like that guy that finally ran the sub 2 hour ultra marathon for Nike and set a world record.2.5 years out for an EPO bust. Comes back to BW at 35 years old and goes a full five rounds no problem. I’m not even remotely convinced he’s clean at all.

Nice google search lol

Looking at his 5 round performance you'd think why was he taking EPO in the first place if this is 'clean' Dillasnake.
Holdsworth called out Dillashaw's PED use as far back as the first Barao fight (and Dillashaw's pace for that fight was a huge factor in his victory) and Garbrandt called out Dillashaw's EPO use a year prior to the latter's failed drug test.Because he was cutting to 125 and felt like shit
Yeah I'm sure he was doing other shit, just the same shit everyone else does lolHoldsworth called out Dillashaw's PED use as far back as the first Barao fight (and Dillashaw's pace for that fight was a huge factor in his victory) and Garbrandt called out Dillashaw's EPO use a year prior to the latter's failed drug test.

Go take steroids for a few years, then get off them and see how you feel
Remember all the post-USADA fighters that totally fell off? Shouldn't Vitor be better after taking a bunch of gear? Oh wait that's not how it works at all
You won't get why this is funny, but I have met guys like you. Keep reading your studies and talking about anecdotes lol. This is scientific research, not Google. It's far more valuable than your non scientific anecdotes and speculation. Vitor Belfort is in his 40s and has been roiding his entire career. It's expected that he would fall off compared to when he was young and roiding.
But he didn't say you don't "fall off'. He said you still have a better fitness base to work from due to having been able to train harder and longer previously because of the PEDs.Nice google search lol

So you still fall off, but you have a better "fitness base" to work from? What does that even mean? But he didn't say you don't "fall off'. He said you still have a better fitness base to work from due to having been able to train harder and longer previously because of the PEDs.
It's not just fitness. If one athlete can take just EPO alone they could recover faster and be able to train more compared to their peers. They could not only catch up to but surpass their peers. Having something that can keep you on the mat training for inhuman amounts of time, with the right coaches, can allow you to prep, in camp, for an opponent so well that they have no hope of prepping for you properly and you have an enormous advantage on skill alone even if you don't even have EPO in your system for the fight. But he didn't say you don't "fall off'. He said you still have a better fitness base to work from due to having been able to train harder and longer previously because of the PEDs.
It's generally how it works, I'm sure there are exceptions, but we have seen plenty of athletes/people take steroids, then stop taking steroids, usually when they stop they are worse than they were before.Yeah that's not how drugs work. Any drugs.
Everything about it is going to be down to genetics. From the benefits or lack thereof, the side effects or lack thereof, and the same once you end its use. Obviously there will be some things that you will lose no matter what. Taking EPO once won't grant you a permanent increase in red blood cell production but then again there are certain people with a genetic trait, which apparently you can test for to find out, that block certain type of PEDs from ever showing up on any test so who knows what kind of freak of nature situation we may find out about decades from now.
One athlete may lose much, all or even get worse than they ever were before after they stop taking steroids or other drugs while others can take it seemingly in perpetuity with little to no side effects.
You cannot paint this with one brush. That is not how it works.
You are gonna keep some gains as long as you continue training hard, surely. That’s not how it works, not sure where this myth started that you can take steroids and years later still have a benefit
