Dillashaw title hypocrisy

Does anyone find it funny how Dillashaw is speaking about how unjust the title shot Garbrandt got is?

When Dillashaw got his title shot he was on a 1 fight win streak with his best win against Mike Easton. He was also 5-2 in the UFC

Garbrandt is getting the title shot after going 5-0 in the UFC undefeated 10-0 record and his wins over Mizugaki and Almeida were better wins then any of the 5 wins Dillashaw had at the time

Just very funny how Dillashaw acts like he has been treated so unfair
 
Dillashaw was a replacement to a injured Assuncao
 
didn't dillasnake get a ts due to a fight getting cancelled or injury?
 
Well, I think it's more along the lines he thought he beat Cruz. He lost a split decision and thinks an immediate rematch was warranted.

Agreed but it doesn't change the fact that Garbrandt shot is much stronger than TJ's in 2014 . TJs also wasn't that short notice. It was about 8 weeks notice.

Facts are Garbrandt has a better claim to the shot then TJ did in 2014. TJ shouldn't be throwing out words of a mockery when his title shot was a much bigger gift

It ain't 2014, and the UFC didn't need a BW title challenger on short notice. Dilllashaw destroyed Barao twice, arguably beat Cruz and beat Assuncao. I'm not even a fan of the guy, but I think that it's an absolute travesty that he didn't get an instant rematch and that they're not committing to giving him another title shot if he beats Lineker.

You want to talk about hypocrisy? Hypocrisy is people trashing Woodley on this forum day in and day out for months for not wanting to fight Wonderboy but giving Cruz a free pass for blatantly ducking Dillashaw.

The worst part about Dillashaw's situation is that he probably wouldn't have gotten any grief whatsoever from fans for leaving TAM if McGregor hadn't stuck his nose where it didn't belong.

This "Dillashaw is a snake" bullshit is all of the proof that you need about how horrible the fanbase in this sport is. A guy who makes the most rational possible decision in a tough situation gets trashed for it by a bunch of strangers just because the guy who's the big in the sport decided to have some fun at his expense.

Dillashaw is the most entitled little twerp in all of sports. The fucking guy JUST lost to the champ this year, and aside from that has only beaten 1 guy currently ranked in the UFC BW Top 10. 1 win against a current Top 10 guy, and he has an unavenged loss to Dodson, and is currently 1-1 against Assuncao. Yet he thinks he undoubtedly deserves the next title shot.

Avenged the Raphael loss.

If he beats Lineker and doesn't get a TD then something is definitely up. Only MM should able to get a 135 title fight ahead of him.

Maybe it's backlash from the following fighter's association. The UFC is flexing it's muscles and trying to crush TJ.

He's not ducking him. They fought and he beat Dillasnake. If Dillasnake wins decisively he'll probably get a title shot.

His wins over Barao are what got him the title. But, then he lost the title. Now he's just one contender, in a stacked division. He is 1-4 currently against the rest of the top 10 and the champ right now. Why exactly is it a "travesty" that this guy isn't getting another title shot, without having to beat Lineker first?

Let some other guys get the title shot, and he can cement his claim for it by actually beating some top guys.
 
Don't try to use common sense against TJ... Just buy his coach's peanut butter and move on.

It's not about if Garbrandt is more deserving now than Dilly was at the time. It's about who is available at this time.

Assunção was supposed to get the title shot but he was injured so Dilly got the shot. Evans was supposed to fight Shogun but Evans was injured so Jones got the shot. And so on and so forth.

Cruz has a win over the guy in this calendar year and had plantar facialitis

He beat Assuncao after Raphael hadn't a second of time in the octagon in over 2 years and 2 major surgeries

Barao has not been the same since USADA and was near death in his last several cuts to 135. The struggles against Nover , Gagnon, and loss to Stephens has diluted the quality of those wins

Dillashaw got a gift of a title shot. Garbrandt has a better resume leading up to their shot, the employer went anther direction and Dillashaw is pouting like a lil baby.

Woodley Wonderboy is clearly not a similar comparison. WONDERBOY was clearly #1 contender. A good comparison was Bones v. Gus and guess what, Gus did not get an immediate rematch

UFC multiple options and they went in a different direction. Dolly is pouting like a child stating the UFC is unfair when they out fully in title contention in 2014 when he hadn't earned a darn thing. It's very funny how big of a hypocrite he is
