Fair enough, he beat #2 so you can't really argue with it.

People yelling robbery but the better fighter clearly won. TJ had to battle through a popped knee and a bad cut and still managed to do as well as he did

Left as Champ, comes back unranked, knocks off #2, seems legit...

In all actuality if we were doing the ranking based on current ability and past fight performances, without giving the titleholder an automatic #1 spot, they would arguably read as follows... Aljo didn’t show us anything in his last performance to suggest that he’s truly one of the top 3 players.

    1.) Yan
    2.) TJ
    3.) Sandhagen
    4.) Font
    5.) Aljo

Image looks like TJ trying to cheat a "you must be this tall to ride" test.

    Fucking cheater.

Listen- not only the layoff, a " possible" leg-knee problem going in and agsinst a guy like sandhagen.
Color me impressed and #2 is certainly justifiable as I look at 135 landscape.

TJ , besides the gash in the brow's corner, took clean solid jabs and moved forward on the extremely rangy 135 elite.

I'll be surprised if aljo beats yan after watching that first fight ( I bet aljo and how lucky did I get?). At 265 , you have a coin flip fight between Jose and Pedro ( really hoping Aldo wins but have no idea what's going to happen). Title fight winner, tj , aldo-munhoz winner and font will permeate the " in the mix" menu.

Dilly coming back in this fashion is huge as the UFC has strong pillars set into the earth with 155, 145 and 135.

Alot of fans seem to think that Volk is going to have little trouble with Ortega. I disagree BIG TIME and one of the top 3 fights I'm so stoked for as far as fights signed through 2021.
I expect this title fight to fucking deliver.

I was rooting for Cory but have to give props to TJ for battling through adversity and coming out ahead. That shows the heart of a champion.

Hopefully Cory will be less tentative in a rematch and finish the fight next time.

But Aljo ran through Sandhagen like fire through bushes. Cory shouldn't be ranked ahead of him now. What would warrant that?
