Different style belts?

hey guys just wondering if anybody if theres a diff between belt makers... sonds weird I know, but i was looking to buying a new belt, right now i have a HSU thats really slim, but was wondering if they make any a little wider?

i dont know the difference but i trust only koral for belts and koral and vulkan for gi's


i like the koral belts, my blue belt is a koral, theyre pretty awesome.

I hear ya man, my generic brand belt is a little on the slim side too at about 1.5" but im looking at promotion soon so I can wait on replacing it.

Most belts tend to run about 1.75" wide across most brands BJJ or otherwise. While some Black belts tend to be around 2" wide and can be on the dense side for durability sake. The stiffness of belts tends to be the only real factor between most belt manufacturers...some can be too soft and flimsy while some can be so hard (Gameness comes to mind) that they can be tricky to keep tied.

yeah, theyre really good, koral belts sell for 25 bucks and the white ones sell for 20, idk if youre looking for gi's too but if i were you id step away from the generics they rip like paper, the korals and vulkans start at 150 but ill go into detail if you want...

If your looking for something pretty cool and slightly different, try a War belt. Made out of gi material. They are pretty damned sweet
