I did a google search but apparently there is no nutritional difference. I always bought brown due to the "brown is healthier" mindset that has been instilled in me lol. Recently though I started buying white eggs and damn, they taste better to me. To me it seems like the yolks are sweeter but I dunno. Plus brown eggs are more expensive.

Is there any difference other than the type of hen that laid them? I'm getting white from now on.

As far as I know they vary by color depending on the breed of hen. Other than the color difference I don't believe there are any major variances.

Cool thanks. Yeah, apparently no difference:

So is it just in my head that the white eggs taste better or are more flavorful?

I get the same brand (Nature's promise omega 3) but the whites have yellower and sweeter yolks. Weird.

I've always thought of the brown eggs as healthier, but that's probably from being brought up in a hick town. The stores had regular white eggs, and we had chickens so they were fresh and "cage-free" and all that. As a kid I only cared that they tasted a lot better.
