difference between bulgarian split squats and lunges?

how do you guys make time for these if you have BS/FS/OHS on a weekly rotation?

I think they're valuable but they're just so low on my priorities with all the big lifts that I don't make time for them.

I don't think it requires much energy to do 2-3 sets after doing some other squats. Just treat them as an assistance lift.
 
This is almost exactly what I do as well except I prefer elevated SS. I think they compliment the stretch you get during jump training.

Agreed, I do mine elevated as well. I do them as per the video on defranco's youtube page. Finally get some use out of those aerobics steps.
 
I don't think anyone here recommended the smith machine.

yea, yea, yea. i just got done with my curls so it was convenient.

no seriously, it was the first time i had done them, i didnt know how much weight i could do, so i figured for stability i would do them in the smith machine the first few times. i'll move over to the free bar next week. baby steps, baby steps.
