Difference between a real competitor and Cowboy

Just look at the aftermath of the Tony vs Cowboy fight. Look at the reactions of the fighters.

Tony, the winner, on the verge of tears because he hit Cowboy just after the bell and won in an unsatisfying manner:

Cowboy, the loser, jolly despite making a very silly mistake (if it even was a mistake), losing the bout and disappointing all the fans he puzzlingly enough has.

Seems like the perfect can to feed to Conor. A guy who literally could not care less about whether he loses or not. So this is supposed to be a bad-ass guy just because he fights often? Of course he fights often, he doesn't care about losing and he is happy to get pummelled within the first round.
this !! ...and Cowboy is getting paid very well to take a dive !

If you can't figure out why Cerrone has fans, then you don't understand fighting very well.

Yeah? Care to list those times he did that?

he’ll probably name barboza upkick and RDA eye poke but these are all clear unintentional fouls

this isn’t dc literally using eye poking as a strategy

Cerrone is a bit happy go lucky. When you yourself as a fighter don’t really seem to care about winning, it’s hard to make me as a fan care about you. Not everyone is going to be a champ but there is something annoying about a fighter who is always just happy to be there. You can be a nice guy but you can also be a savage. You can be humble in defeat without being over the top.

Never understood the appeal guys like cowboy n sonnen have

they fight often n pretend to be anyplace, anytime, anyone

but as soon as there’s some adversity they melt under pressure

RDA - eye poke that changed the whole fight
Barboza - kick to a downed opponent
Kevin Lee (illegal elbow to he back of the head that was never called when KL had him lifted up against the cage)

I realized you're a fan of him so you won't acknowledge this but I guarantee if he and Khabib fight and Khabib starts to smash him like he does everyone that there will be an "accidental" illegal shot that will change the fight or get him DQ'd.

Yeah. Look like you was right.

There is nothing wrong with being gracious in defeat.

IMO not giving a fuck can be an asset for a fighter

Cowboy has definitely won fights goading opponents into a "fun" fight and having "fun" fights has afforded Cowboy the opportunity to fight pretty much whoever and whenever he wants to

Another posting calling Cerrone a can. He’s on the tail end of a long career but you really should watch some of his early magic.

Maybe, just maybe Conor isn't expected to starch Cowboy because Cerrone is shit or not a competitor or a can but because Conor is just... good?

Tony always seems to land "accidental" illegal shots in fight's he losing and getting beat up.

You spew this same bullshit in every thread where Tony is mentioned. So easily debunked too.

Edson fight: Tony wasn't getting beat up or losing and only a true mouth breather would claim he was. He outlanded Edson in each round and with the harder shots to boot. And anyone who's seen the fight knows Edson's best moments (which weren't very significant) came AFTER the upkick that you allege changed the course of the fight.

RDA-It was back and forth early...then the eye poke in rd 2 which happens. RDA tried claiming he was affected as the fight went on but he lost rd 2 and WON rd 3. So his eye was fine. But then he couldn't keep up with Ferguson in rds 4 and 5.

Cowboy- Tony won rd 1 on 2 of 3 judges cards and outlanded Cowboy. Then beat the hell out of him in rd 2. So it's extra retarded that you'd choose this fight to highlight the moronic "point" that you're trying to make.

But...it could be that you enjoy being laughed at. In which case...congrats.

Yeah. Look like you was right.

I already eviscerated his idiotic claims bit he added another gem. So I checked that out. It was absokutley nothing and had zero effect on the fight in even the tiniest way.

Best part is he tries to say "But but but you're a fan so won't acknowledge..." while refusing to also see that he dislikes Tony and goes out of his way to denigrate him every chance he sees.

It's comical, he's a clown (at least when anything relating to Ferguson is discussed here).

So is this a troll thread...or just another Shertard talking shit about a highly talented and experienced pro fighter who doesn't behave the way TS thinks he 'should'?

Difference between real competitor and Ferguson.
Cerrone has had double the fights of Ferguson since Ferguson entered the UFC. In fact Cerrone has had more fights since Ferguson entered the UFC than Ferguson has had in his ENTIRE career

Cerrone has the most wins in UFC history, most finishes in UFC history, most post fight bonuses in UFC history, most knockdowns in UFC history, and tied for most fights in UFC history. That is a real competitor.
Bygod, I'd buy you a fucking beer if Sherdog opened a bar. *Cheers*
