Diet/Supplement to aid injury recovery

hi all, just want to clarify that I'm a complete novice to the diet/supplements area but do realise that this is a subject that I must learn about and so I'm seeking out your help and advice with my first question.

I fought on saturday night and have sustained an injury to my bicep. It's quite inflamed and I'm thinking I've torn it slightly. It's not agony but definitely at hinderance. I'm supposed to be fighting again next saturday night and was wondering if there is any dietary or supplementary issues I should be looking into to aid my recovery..

Any help or advice anyone could give me would be very much appreciated.

glucosamine is supposed to be good for joints if you need that
 
Nothing is going to work that fast, and if you do fight, plan on injuring yourself further.
