So at the beginning when UFC announced their deal with ESPN, there was a lot of negativity among the fans.

What do you think of the UFC/ESPN partnership so far? Do you think it’s good the UFC?

I feel like UFC got extremely lucky by making a deal with ESPN. They can reach out to a new bigger audience that was never into the fight game before. The way ESPN promoted McGregor vs Cowboy fight was huge. It brought a lot of attention not only to that specific fight but to the MMA as a sport in general.

I’m so excited for Khabib vs Tony fight, they’ll most likely hugely promote that fight as well. And can you imagine how big it would be if Khabib vs McGregor rematch happens? They’ll be literally talking about it on ESPN on a daily basis.

Do you think he should get paid more for that performance? The result is basically the same as if you went out there against McGregor.

I liked it at first when we got like five awesome free cards. Now that I have to pay more for pay per views and use their shitty app that makes rewinding and watching slow mo replay nearly impossible I like it less.

At first it was awesome, when they showed all the fight highlights but then they stopped. I don't care for them much anymore. I don't like the ppv format, and I miss the soundbites we used to get from those live fox interviews

200k + PPV cut surely? Which if you believe Dana's 1.5m buys means that I'm sure Cowboy made over a million.

I feel like they are focusing now to make 3-4 huge events and the rest they don’t really care about. UFC 245 had an awesome card. UFC 249 will be huge. Probably one of the events in the summer will have an impressive card and etc.
