I did because I was concerned about a possible reach advantage now all that is negated ..

What say the sherdog experts ?
 
Always thought this fight would be competitive, nothing changed for me with a few pics.
Still think Benson will most likely edge Gil in a decision after a competitive 25minutes bout.

But i'm rooting for Gilbert and hoping that i'm wrong about the fight result.
 
Unless Benson has a really bad weightcut, stomach bug, or not himself he is gonna absolutely smoke Melendez.
 
Should be a fun fight im picking bendo though,but if frankie could rock and put ben on his ass a few times,gil maybe able to get a tko or a decision win
 
Gil basically lost to Thomson. Bendo is going to smash him.. Plus Gil was ducking Pat Healy, even said it was a lose lose fight for him.

Bendo still takes the decision. He is the better fighter.
 
I actually did aswell. I thought benson was much larger and that doesnt seem to be the case at all. Now im alot more interested to see the fight , Gils very durable and i think if they trade punches he has an advantage, but well see.

Haven't really seen anyone smoking Gil.. ever. It will be competitive at the least but Bendo is rightfully the favorite.
 
lol @ reach advantage. Did you think that Gil's arms just grew overnight? Bendo never had a reach advantage over him, and anybody who watched strikeforce would know he didnt have much mass over him either. What this fight will come down to is Bendo's Cardio and grappling vs El Nino's Striking and TDD
