The octagon concept i don´t know, but Gracies were promoting no holds barred fights in brazil since the 50´s i guess

So the vale tudo fights (no rules fights) between different styles are a Gracie concept

Kazja Patschull invented the octagon

http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/news/Who-invented-the-Octagon-437233

He posted proof on here back in the day but it was deleted. When UFC trademarked everything and was suing everyone left and right he was the only other promoter that was allowed to use the term "octagon"

He had a whole bunch of interesting stuff to say about Zuffa, the NSAC, the CSAC and how they all worked together, for Zuffa's benefit. Few took him seriously, but I think he was right, Armando Garcia (former CSAC director) is now head of security for Station Casino's, & Marc Ratner (NSAC director at the time) is now VP of something or other for Zuffa...

MMA was a Greek competition. It's been around forever. Go read a book.

Cool but i'd always taken the good old Ty. :D

Classic balanced character. Faster than Buzz, stronger than Kato, nice distance on the attacks and decent speed to go with it.
