Did the UFC cut Jack May?

I realize he hasn't had the best showing in his two UFC fights, but considering the lack of depth in the division, it would be silly to cut a 6'8" striker. He would be a good matchup for several other striking oriented fighters coming off losses.

With Jones gone the ufc have pretty much given up with anyone over 185lbs. It's all about tiny men and tinier women now
