One of the things that kind of pissed me off was how Paulie got all buddy buddy with Artem....I feel he only did it so Artem wouldn't talk shit, which he didn't...Artem was pretty respectful.

If Paulie had KO'd/destroyed Artem...I feel he would've talked a lot of shit...a lot of it.

The only thing I disagree on is your last point. I think Paulie would have still been pretty respectful after the fight if he won. At that point there is really nothing else too say.

The way it actually went down would be the most likely scenario to make Paulie want to keep talking shit: a controversial decision loss that he disagrees with. Who knows though, I don’t know the man.

Paulie knows how to hype a fight as good as anyone else. He also mentioned recently that he was going for a fight with McGregor, saying if he beat Artem, McGregor would want to fight him. Paulie had to do something to try to not look like a fucking idiot after that fight. Paulie talked tons of shit and despite being cordial he still said the judges in Florida are fucking stupid and he knew he was better than this. Either way he took the loss but he wasn't classy about it despite being friendly to Lord Artem.
