I know before the fall out, Dana had a decent relationship with Koscheck. I mean Josh did tons of last minute replacements and in return, he was compensated very generously to the point that he had Ferraris, air planes and a mansion as well as money to start a gym.

Then I remembered that he was given a position as an analyst along with Cruz and if I am not mistaken it was either DC or Chael. I don't remember but it seemed like when the loss streak was happening, the UFC was trying to take care of Josh but then the fall out happened.

What really happened? Did Josh turn the analyst position down?

I remember him appearing once as analyst but then I don't really pay attention to MMA media.

I would guess Dana has some say over who the Fox analysts are. You probably not getting that gig after leaving UFC on bad terms. but josh ain't hurting for cash either

Dana did not have a decent relationship with Kos.

He actually didn't like Josh, and said so in the past.

They almost fought each other once too.

    He's well off
He made some property investments that apparently paid off, he owns and runs his own gym as well (I think more than one in Fresno),

And TS, a quick google search shows that he might have lost faith in the UFC after the rebbok deal
apparently he was pissed about his fit kit - remember he was signed by Bellator
But I think he and Dana are still relatively cool from a business standpoint, he's got beef with all the old AKA guys I think

But still long story, he doesn't need to work as an analyst

I remember when he was an analyst for that one day, someone posted a video of it, and he seemed super uncomfortable, and wasn't natural at it yet. The analyst gig takes a bit to get used to, so it's understandable that he was nervous, and making a ton of mistakes.

His personality is too annoying to be a fox analyst. I think he made a lot of money, anyway. Even if he blew it all, he's quite famous and could make a small fortune establishing MMA gyms and doing seminars.

He definitely had a rocky start. Always a chance he might have improved, but not an opportunity you normally get many chances at.

I'm not sure I'd go that far. He seems like a true dick and very unlikable. He would have to develop some social skills for that to work out. With all that being said he isn't an idiot. He makes good financial decisions.

    Such as?

Last time I checked, he invested his money by starting a Tshirt company called Mars which went out of business hard. Then he tried to sue Stephan Bonnar which costs money. That and maintaining a lavish life style of having mansion and Ferraris and airplanes requires tons of money coming in in order to pay property taxes and etc...

Its not like he is making sandcastles in the skies...
