Dude was fighting cans like every month before that, now he hasn't fought in a year. He didn't look that bad against Parsons.

I dunno man, but I'm sure it must feel so disheartening to go undefeated that long, constantly put on exciting fights, and then get immediately cut because of 1 fucking loss. Stupid move on Bellator part, even in that lone loss it was an exciting fight and he hurt Parsons there in round 2

Some people just can't handle a loss. I did a search for anything from him or his camp in 2016 and it's been silent. Nothing about injury, retirement, changing camps/sports/anything. Nothing at all.

Hopefully all is well with the man. It's tough times in Brazil for a lot of people

His brother Rafael Silva was a bad cut too. Lost decisions to Warren and Caldwell, and gets cut. 24-5 record.

Especially stupid as he was and is very young. They could've had a quality fighter in a few years if they'd have built him up.

Probably just taking a break. He's still only 21 years old. UFC should sign him up and build him up slowly.

I guess he did end up fighting in June. Would think the UFC gives him a shot with a few more cans crushed.

That's the dude with like 15 flying knees ko in his record right? Lol. Haven't seen his bellator lost but if I'll be looking forward to his next fight when ever he fight.

Nvm just noticed he had a fight during the summer. But that is a while ago for a guy who use to be fkin active in brazil

Luis Rafael is sort of in the same boat. Dude went 31-0 fighting 4, 5 or 6 times each year without fail. Lost for the first time in February and hasn't fought since.

Truth is both have made their cartel by crushing all type of cans... Morceguinho still showed us that he was good at Bellator and should't have been cut... What happened after their losses is a mistery though.

IIRC he was fighting that often because of money and some experience.

Maybe with Bellator paycheck he can make it a little longer. Not that they pay much but Im guessing he was fighting for pennies in Brazil.

You never know with guys like Neves. Most their careers they were paid very little so in both cases maybe just the lost combined with the pay and the grind of fighting they just never saw the light at the end of the tunnel(big paydays). Maybe better career paths got presented to both of them, who knows.
