Did Jotko always suck that bad?

Haven't watched all of his fights but how did he ever manage to beat anyone in the UFC let alone 5 in a row?
Slow, predictable, no power behind his punches and a weak mind. Almost like he doesn't want to be in there. Seems like he is one of those guys that lose once and never are able to get it together again

I was pretty hyped for him but ever since the Branch loss he seems to have lost something.

Or in his case his last 3. He has the perfect body type to be a successful fighter but fails to utilize it at all

The Branch fight was very close/uneventful. He was smashing Uriah possible on his way to finish, gassed and was crushed by a big shot. Yeah, he just looked straight garbage here.

All three are like top-15 guys though.

He was beating Uriah Halls ass then he got caught because he was too aggressive. After that fight he has seemed off.
