Yep. He also cranked the subs after the ref intervened, which didn't help. But it was the reputation he has earned from earlier fights for cranking submissions unnecessarily that cost him the benefit of the doubt when his finishes became controversial.

Had Palhares ignored the advice you gave here and listened instead to the posters disagreeing with you, he would be gainfully employed by an MMA promotion right now, most likely the UFC.
