Did fighting at HW help DC for this fight or.....

    do you think if he would have started fighting at LHW around his 3rd or 4th fight, it would have been better for him?

    I guess he thought he would be HW champ pretty quickly when he started. He would have if it wasnt for Cain

    I don't think it helped or hurt. No one he has fought has even come close to resembling Jon Jones style. The experience didn't hurt him, but it didn't prepare him either.

    if DC never fought at hw i would not give him any chance at all for this fight. Only because of what i've seen him doing at HW, I give him a good shot.

    No way of knowing what would have prepared him better since there's no way of knowing what his career path would have looked like, but I imagine grappling with big, strong dudes has helped him prepare for Jon's leverage (from using his size so well).

    No . There are several reasons aswell .
    DC had trouble cutting the weight so it was a health issue.

    Fighting at heavy weight has given DC massive amounts of experience against much larger opponents .

    We where able to see things that we likely may have never seen (like a 260 pound Barnett getting thrown 6 ft in the air.)

    It wouldn't have created such an aurora around the Jones fight if he was see. As "just another" LHW.
