HELLO! In the countdown, when they focussed on Cormier, and he started talking about how hard he's working, and everything in life has been leading up to him winning.... I wanted to believe. I think I believed for a short time, but then I lost faith, and now I am not convinced to the betting point, that DC will win the fight. Did DC convince anyone here in the countdown?

I hope he wins, but he didn't exude much confidence.

No. This will be another Jones domination. Gus is the real test.

Want him to win but I've lost confidence in him this past week.

He is going to have to land a big shot on the feet. No way does he dominate the wrestling for five rounds.

I'd hope that hype shows don't significantly impact opinions regarding who is going to win a fight. That's probably hoping for too much, though.

DC not only going to beat Jones, he also will break his Bones literally! If Jones defeats DC that means he can win the gold medal, which I doubt very much! Reality check, you cannot beat an olympian wrestler at the level of DC in a few weeks, no matter how talented you are! DC is humble but he brings it and doesn't need size or reach or cheating to win, he wins because he is extremely gifted!

There's DC picking up a 250 pound heavyweight and tossing him around.

This is what it looks like when he's doing it to someone who weighs 205

How can one think jones can prevent this? I don't care how good jones' take down defense is, If corimer gets a hold of him, Im confident he's going for a ride one way or another.

I agree with you that DC can dominate in the wrestling department.

But I kind of wonder about DC's conditioning. Can he wrestle hard for 5 rounds? Not sure about that.

I think DC wins early then gasses and gets beat up on the feet but I do think he has a chance in this one.

He can't, that simple really. Unless he miraculously manages to flash KO Cormier in the first 30 s, he's going to get taken down. Gus took him down, Cormier most certainly will as well.

We have to ask about the flip side of the coin here.......if Cormier is able to clinch and take Jones down early...control him and land some hard shots for the first few rounds and gets tired......how much of that will it take out of Jones and how fatigued will Jones be??

It's weird because I didn't even watch the countdown but I feel that dc has lost some steam somehow? I've lost a little confidence myself and I'm really hoping dc wins of is extremely competitive

I don't care what either guy says or how they look in a dress shirt. I trust the skills.

Agree. I don't think Jones will be rebalancing his stock portfolio from his mobile while he resiliently takes 3 rounds worth of ass whoopin only to strategically turn it on in the championship rounds when DC is gassed.

jones via knee. I think cormier runs right into it on a takedown attempt (kimo/shamrock)

None of this matters. The fact of the matter is if Jones wins again, there'll be naysayers making up some more craziness, and if he loses, it'll be, "See, we told you that Jones wasn't good," nonsense. Jones will lose in the eyes of the pseudo fans no matter what happens. I just hope they both bring it and I get to see two badasses try to destroy each other. The winner will be the true fans of the fight game.

    No !

And I think he is bit scared, I just see it in his eyes.

This will not help him against Jones at all.

    Jones by submission, round 3.

How can you compare prime Jones to washed out Henderson ?

Well if you think Jones will not be able to deal with his pressure then sit down and watch fight closely ;)
