I remember years ago that he was saying he was going to buy a percentage of the UFC or wanted a percentage if UFC wants him to continue fighting. I am curios to know whatever happened with that plan?

Imagine if he kept winning and kept growing to the point of literally owning the UFC. That would have been iconic and truly first time for everything.

Connors star status is fading very fast. Dont think he would be allowed to check in on that.

But casuals seem to love him still and he seems fine with the MMA casuals.

I don't know about that... I think the under 23 year old casuals just think he was always a joke. Probably don't even know he was an actual double champ.

Fuck no.

He was delusional enough to think he was entitled to equity and was shot down instantly by the boss man.

Was he shot down or is it because he started losing after Alvarez that his bargaining power diminished?

The thing is, as posters here, we know more than the casuals. I assume that the casuals are still behind with everything and assume Conor is still that killer that dropped Paulie in sparring and did amazing against Floyd and was incredible against cowboy. The casuals seem few years behind with popular fighters.

Not first time. Mario Lemieux owns the Pittsburgh Penguins. Michael Jordan owns the Charlotte Bobcats.

He has money involved in the ufc that he's profiting off, one way or another. His past tweets confirmed that.

No. Marky Mark offered to sell him his, but Conor decided to call him out for a fight, I think. It was very odd. At the time. Now that kind of stuff is normal, I guess.

He was shot down instantly by Dana White instantly and publicly

Also LOL @ "Doing amazing against Floyd".

If we are going into details fans loves him (most fans is just there for how he dress)

He is an instagram-player. Always was. In MMA he is seen as a loser, he dont got the credentials and he dont have the record. Good fighter tho but ppl claim he is some kind of great in the MMA - he wouldnt even fit a top 20 list.

Dude imagine all that and if one day you met him on the street and it was love at first sight and you got to date him!

nope. his star power to draw money is fading and buying Endeavor stocks isn't that smart of a investment when most of your income goes to buying ultra expensive watches, cheap booze and coke.

Just saw that Lemieux and his partner are close to selling the franchise. They paid about 100 million and currently valued at 650, nice return.

I believe Lemieux took part of his ownership as he was owed deferred payment from playing and the team was filing for bankruptcy.

Yes the trick is he is making money of UK fighters fighting through his equity in paradigm management company. It’s not the UFC paying him. He lost money from Edward when masvidal pulled of
