How many of you think if Chael could have just made it out of round 1 with Jones he would have became light heavyweight champ due to Doctor stoppage?

Chael was robbed! That fight should have been stopped with the condition of Jones's toe. Chael thought it was going to be stopped, let up and the ref screwed it all up. Jones would have gutted it out and continued and won. Uriah Hall won on a broke toe and Jones has more will than Hall.

If they call the fight it would have been a NC. Jones is protected. The rules don't apply to him.

It's a different circumstance. Jon had a piece of his toe bone sticking out of his skin. The athletic commissions are not legally allowed to let the fight to continue with that kind of injury.
