Volume over power.

Can't see his strikes being any real threat to Conor's chin, assuming he even lands anything..

lol the same Bisping that had Anderson Silva backed up on a cage and didnt even think about striking him? Nah, Diaz and Bisping are completely different fighters.

Yep Nate is a volume striker.

Great analysis, thanks for the thread.

its ironic that you chose that Maynard fight as well considering Diaz was like a shark after blood when he had Maynard backed into to the cage. Bisping would have just starred at him

missed the cung le fight did we?

With the 4 oz. gloves, any one punch can be a game changer. They may look pitter patter, but imagine one of these to the jaw......

You pick the one fight where Nate actually went full beast mode to try and say he has no power?

I said the finish reminded me of a Bisping finish. I didn't say Nate Diaz fights, walks, talks and acts like Bisping. lol

Look at Bisping's finishes. You'll get the point.

You think siver, mendes, Holloway, etc are all better strikers than Nate? They all landed lots of shots on Conor....and Nate will have the reach advantage here. Conor is not some kind of elusive defensive genius...he gets hit a lot.

Why wouldnt he land anything? He's got the reach and hes got the chin so he most likely wont be knocked out like aldo. With that reach you better believe hes gona land some shots.

Even Aldo hit him after he was knocked out. Ok, you make a good point. I'll admit.

Youre just playing stupid / trolling. Shit thread is shit.

Not at all. I'm making the point that there is evidence that Diaz doesn't have what it takes to seriously threaten Conor standing.

By referencing a fight in which Nate absolutely fucking demolished his opponent. Full retard man.

The referee pulled Nate off after he'd landed many punches on an opponent who wasnt fighting back but also still on their feet.

Most of Bisping's finishes look exactly like this.

Maynard was overwhelmed like Mayhem was and pretty much everyone else Bisping has TKO'd.

I'm not saying it's a bad finish or poor performance. I'm just pointing out that he clearly doesn't have knockout power.

Maynard was leaning on the fence for support, and, after Nate got pulled off him, subsequently collapsed to his knees. I'd say Nate hits hard enough.

Delusional. Diaz clearly has the hands advantage. Power goes to McGregor but everything goes to Nate.
