So Nate has came out now and not only tweeted that his fighting Pettis, but said that the UFC have announced the Matt Brown fight without Nate actually agreeing to it, Nate says in the article that he said he wanted to fight Brown last year but now has his heart set upon the fight with Pettis.

I just wanted to know, what fight would people prefer to see? I'm a fan of all 3 guys but I think I'd like to see Nate/Pettis more as there's history there and I don't enjoy watching Nate fight at WW as much.

Which fight would you prefer to see?

I'm a big fan of both Nate and Matt, and would much rather watch these two square off. It would be guaranteed fun.

Although I am a Nate Diaz fan, I don't see that he'd have anything to offer Pettis at this stage, I imagine the fight would be a forgone conclusion, that Pettis would win. So I don't really want to see it...

i agree with you- nate at 170 can be manhandled, and matt is no slouch. i think nate vs. pettis would be more competitive, only if nate learns to check leg kicks.

Somehow I'm inclined to believe the people who make the fights rather than a Diaz brother.

Nate Diaz being Nate Diaz. He wont be happy unless he derails & fucks everything up.

Would love to watch Diaz vs. Pettis. He has no business fighting in WW.

Diaz vs Brown is a much better match up IMO.

He got his wish he wanted to fight Brown after the Silva fight.

Nate still has some good fights at LW (Alvarez, Masvidal, Johnson, Cerrone II)

Pettis should take on Barboza.

This.

Diaz x Pettis is practically a guaranteed win for Pettis. Nate is one of the easiest match ups for him out there.

He has no business fighting either, but at least he can deal with Pettis size wise. I'd rather see Nick fight Matt Brown, that would be much more interesting.

I'd much rather see Nate at lw.

Diaz vs Pettis so he can get a beat down for talking shit. It would be like the Thomson fight all over again

Diaz-Brown more fun but Pettis makes more sense. Diaz didn't get blown out of water against DHK either so he most likely wont be overpowered here. I'm just questioning his motivation as a fighter.

All the Diaz brothers AND their nuthuggers on here do is talk about how nobody wants to actually fight. Well...Matt Brown is your huckleberry!

i dont get it.

are they feeding Nate to Matt Brown to get his winning streak goin again?

i mean i dont get it. Matt goes on a 7 fight winning streak with all those fights against guys out of the top 20 then gets a top5 guy, then back to someone not even ranked at WW?

Hell Nate couldnt get ranked even in the top 25 at WW even if he tried.

Nate has no chance against the Immortal, not even a puncher's chance of a flash KO.

Guys were saying Benson would get manhandled in the clinch by Brown but Nate is gonna do better?!?

Pettis vs Nate makes no sense either.

Shit between inactivity and losssing when he does fight how is he even ranked in the top 20 at LW either?

So the Champ loses and doesnt even want to get back on track against someone who a win over would get him a chance at his title again?

Nate has looked horrid the last 3 years, been inactive, and hard to deal with, not a needle mover they say...

So why is he being rewarded with high profile fights he doesnt deserve???

Before the RDA fight, wasn't Nate ranked like 7th at LW but was removed due to inactivity?

i have major issues with him ever being ranked in the top 10 at lw.

he has 7 wins and 8 LOSSES since 2009 that 6 frickn years with a losing record with his best win against Jim Miller at that particular point in time. Who yes was a fringe top10 guy.

so you tell me how he was ranked #7?

because UFC rankings are a popularity contest.

Diaz belongs at 155 but Pettis would eat him...early tko.He actually has a better chance against Brown--styles make fight s and I could see Nate pulling the upset over Brown but hed get murdered by most of the top 12 at welter.
