Interesting how Nate Diaz was not willing to accept the Khamzat fight a few months ago when he was at the bottom of the rankings/still moving up whereas now he's actively looking for that fight. How the tables turns... the battle between the UFC / Nate Diaz is interesting.

Seems like Nate is just repeating some stuff he read online. Khamzat's visa issues were before the Burn's fight and that's what was holding up making that fight official. He probably just saw on social media Khamzat getting married. It's his way to just put it out there like Khamzat has issues and that's why the fight isn't going to happen when in reality it could be something else, like Nate not wanting the fight. Nate has never wanted the fight since it was first offered, he kept trying to pass the fight on to his friend instead. Dana/UFC seems to want to make that fight to lower Nate's stock as he enters free market though.

Nate is being offered a lot of fights, he's just not accepting them.

Dude is getting pathetic. The UFC is contractually obligated to 9ffer him fights it's Nate that's been turning them down and crying victim.

Nate talking shit on twitter, nothing new.

Good post. I'm wondering if this is true or if Nate actually wants to fight Khamzat now that Khamzat is basically at the top of the division. Would it benefit the UFC to feed Khamzat Nate or is it better to feed Nate to another up and comer that has yet to make a name for themself?

Do they want another Mcgregor situation where the fighter has a lot of power? Or would they rather spread that power around in order to not allow any single fighter to get too much power?

Nate hasn't backed down from other tough fights. He fought Jorge and then fought Leon Edwards after that. I don't see why he wouldn't want the Khamzat fight especially since Khamzat now has some hype around him. No one would be expecting him to win and he would still be able to leave the UFC with hype around him since Khamzat is getting to be a big name in the UFC.

At any given point, you can count on one or both of the Diaz bros to be high, so yes, he probably was high.

even if nate is given a title shot against usman or oliveria he would turn it down.

I think nate is just looking for an easy fight. he might even turn down volks lw debut.

Nate is a fake version of chito vera.

Walter White Jr is a joke.

Terrible fighter and has no intention of fighting Khamzat.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh you've been on an internet forum for 6 years. You are such a scholar mate congrats lmao

Walter White Jr is a bum.

What's he a legend of? Having a 50% win rate?

Here is the reality....
Nate didn't want Khamzat when he was ranked lower = less of a draw which = less earning potential for Nate.
Now that Khamzat is so high up the rankings and such a known name he wants to fight him. It just comes down to Nate knowing he probably won't win so he isn't going to risk taking the L against a guy ranked so low (previously), because he knows if he gets lucky and DOES win against a highly ranked opponent - he can scream and yell for a title shot. If he loses, as he would be expected to do, at least he walks with a nice payday. It just comes down to what he is willing to risk for the shot at a miracle and making sure he gets paid for the inevitable loss. I've always loved the Diaz brothers but they've been washed for 5+ years at this point.
