Diaz Bro's tactic of overvaluing themselves should be taken as a lesson to other big name fighters.

Dude what leverage?
IMHO Diaz is talking without a clue what he is saying, and still hasn't won his fight against Lawler, at a weight class hes not supposed to be fighting at! Diaz is only allowed all this by Dana white because he's a legend. That could end very fast with an abysmal Performance on Saturday.

By all accounts, Diaz is talking ridiculously. Then again the Diaz Brothers have a habit of doing that.

Isn't this what most big name fighters do anyway?

The second they beat a top five fighter they call out the champion, threaten to wait a year for a shot, and generally refuse to fight.

The diaz bros benefit mostly from their mexican fanbase

He's not a legend. He had a good run in Strikeforce the B-leagues but did nothing in the UFC but have lackluster performances in his biggest fights, losing them all and hasn't won since 2011.

TS says "if you bring the views" and overvaluing at the same tie.

Diaz bros promoted themselves great. No need for the back handed insult.

Truth. Nate is especially good at promoting himself and protecting his brand. The Diaz bros don’t get enough credit for that.
Thats just how they are. They arent geniuses. Its just their entitlement winds up working out for them.

Pffffffff

gimme a break

Diaz brothers have fans from everywhere. They dont rep their heritage one bit. Which in their case is probably why they have more fans than people who do.

I think you underestimate them a bit—particularly Nate. Nate using the FOX platform to make that famous call out of McGregor was excellent, he landed the opportunity and made the most of it. The whole “BMF title” gimmick worked too, the UFC made an actual belt and big event out of it. And even when he lost badly to Edwards he performed in such a way that it was Nate that was being talked about after the fight (not Leon), and his stock didn’t go down at all. The Diaz bros are both very good at this, Nate more so though.

I think he has people behind him telling him to do that stuff, but he barely knows what he is doing. Like when he was saying how he didnt want to fight at LW anymore, but kept calling out LW fighters, which Ariel pointed out and he's like "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yea,but we fight at ww"

Like the guy is just stoned most of the time. Maybe his management hold up signs when he's doing interviews lol.

The way Nate talks after the leon fight is the way they always talk. They never accept losses. Their fans eat that shit up. But he'd talk like that anyway. Thats how they are.

Look at how Nick just decides he doesnt wanna make weight 3 days out,and his fans are like "yeah fuck making weight!"
