3 division champ Celestino Caballero. Remind you anyone in MMA?

Gotta say, their style has a certain aesthetic appeal to it. You keep waiting for him to get hurt but he just doesn't, meanwhile applying constant pressure with BRUTAL, BRUTAL body shots.

    Damn straight!
I've never seen any Caballero fights before, gonna have to watch some.
He seems to have a very unorthodox/relaxed/loose style imo.

The Boxing of the Diaz Brothers amazes me. To keep that pace round after round takes a very deep gas tank. They are constantly connecting with their opponents, but aren't throwing power punches to the head like many other fighters. They save their power punches for the body. Nick Diaz used the technique very well against Frank Shamrock and Nate Diaz was very impressive against Marcus Davis.

They truly believe in that old saying... "Destroy the body & the head will fall".

    Yeah same here.
Almost looked like he was throwing a Sambo 'casting punch'
but to the body. Weird but effective.

I've never seen someone throw hooks like that before. Dude must have wrists of steel to keep it from breaking with that slapchop hook.

Close to what we say in my "neck of the woods". We say "Kill the body, the head will die."

I just watched the vid and those body shots are nice. I wonder if they're worth adding to the arsenal?

If one of the Diaz Bros stepped into the squared circle with them they'd get their asses handed to them.

in an interview nick said he throws little punches cus they allow you to throw alot w/out overcommitting or getting out of position if you miss; so while they don't crush people, they break them down..

then once they slow or start getting less mobile or gunshy, then u start adding the power; less chance of u missing and more chance of finishing cus the little punches broke them down.

nick/nate work w/ andre ward alot

Nick and Nate have the advantage of fighting relative midgets. If they fought someone of similar stature they would get owned. Hell Nate's been owned 3 out of the last 4.
