"I cheered for Silva since I fought him more recently. Silva has great impact with his striking whereas Brown is more of a brawler, and his chin was yet to be tested. Silva dominated the beginning but couldn't capitalize, and this messed up his game."

"Brown is a difficult fighter to beat if it goes the distance. He has an endless gas tank so it becomes difficult to outpace him in the end. Silva should have tried to finish him and not go to the ground when he had the chance, but it looked as if he was tired. Also he tired himself out going for the choke. Silva's choice to go to the ground was a blessing for Brown."

"Silva needs to learn to pace himself. He's the type of fighter to swarm you, rest, and swarm again but he has trouble controlling his pace. It also seems he looses steam once the fight doesn't go his way. On the other hand, Brown is just a monster. His cardio is double of other UFC fighters."

"(Brown) is the opposite of a fighter who comes out of nowhere and disappears instantly. He's been beating mid tier fighters, his confidence is up, and he improved his game as well. Before he was a brawler, now his technique looks crisper. He added takedowns, knees, and elbows to his arsenal and he knows how to play his opponent. It makes you wonder how you will beat him if you can't finish him in one round. He became a great fighter. His rise is like that of Hendricks."

"There is no easy fight in the top ten. Brown is the most winnable. I know him well because I fought him before. His wrestling is not good and his chin isn't tested. He also showed weakness against bodyshots. However, because of his gas tank, it is hard to say that he is weaker than the rest of the top ten."

"Whoever my opponent is, I will have a mindset of "Kill me or I'll kill you," and "I'll kill you even if it kills me." I can knock out anybody and everybody has a chin. I go on the ring to die so I do not think about the outcome of the fight nor do I garauntee victory."

"The more opponents I have to face, the stronger I will become."

Lol. Anyone else notice that Kim thinks he is a KO artist all of a sudden? Two KO's doesn't erase all of his decisions.

the quality of those ko's were superb.
dhk is going to get knocked the f*ck out soon but most people like the guy a lot.

They were great KO's; I'm not downplaying that. I like DHK, but he's not a KO artist. Maybe he has recreated himself, but I'm expecting plenty of decisions in his future.

He had 5 KO's in a row before entering the UFC; most of them one punch knockouts with his left hand. He made his name as a KO artist before he completely changed his style as a grappler for the UFC.

Ask anyone who trained with Kim or seen him hit the pads about his power. Kim has real power in both hands, but his left hand can put anyone down.

This. We should appreciate the confidence Kim has in his hands, so maybe he will revert back to his old ways instead of a wet blanket. 2 KO's in a row, seems like hes doing well.
Of course he is going to try to blanket Brown though, cant really blame him. Only people who will want to stand with Brown is probably Diaz, Condit, and Lawler.

I recall reading an interview where DHK said his grinding grappling style was purposely to get enough wins under his belt to establish himself in the UFC (given the short tenure of other asian fighters) and that once he got in a position of contention he would start fighting like he currently does.
