The break-out star of the 140lb division gets to chance to live up to his conqueror nickname on HBO this weekend. On display is his undefeated record along with his take chances style. An "Impressive" win puts him in the drivers seat for fights with the other stars in the Junior Welterweight Division.

Also on the card is the Old warrior Glen Johnson vs the undefeated Tavoris Cloud. This is a must win for both men.

On paper this is a good night of boxing.

Both great fights. Devon gets another good name on his resume and Glen Johnson wins a UD. I don't think Tavoris Cloud is ready for the kind of pressure Glen is going to bring.

I am looking forward to see Devon again. I have only seen two of his fights and like him so far but I am still not sure if he can beat Bradley like most people think.

I think cloud wins his fight but Glenn never surpises me anymore with his way to get wins.

picking alexander by TKO/ko and cloud by UD. I think devon will be both too powerful and fast and Cloud will win with youth.

Scottrade center in St. Louis, MO.

I'll take Alexander by late stoppage and Johnson by UD. Looking forward to see Alexander again. As of right now, I think he beats Bradley's come forward style. Bradley overthrew (powerwise) a lot of his punches with Abregu, and I think Alexander can counter him. I haven't seen enough of Kotelnik to judge how this fight ends up stylistically though. Rooting for Devon.

Kotelnik has a good chin but he's not quick enough to win. UD for Alexander.

I saw yesterday that Alexander might have a shot a Bradley early next year.
Tim Bradley vs Devon Alexander Deal is Getting Close - Boxing News

I dont say this about many fighters but Devon is something special.

In my mind he would be the favorite in this match. His power is way underrated and he has very few mental lapses. The only advantage Bradley might have is stamina, beyond that Devon does everything better.

Can't wait for this card. You have to love Alexander's attitude.....willing to fight anyone and has been calling out Bradley since his beatdown of Urango while Bradley wants to wait until the timing is right to fight Alexander.

I do not think Bradley is scared to fight Alexander by any means but I guarantee Alexander's attitude will win him more fans and wherever this fight goes down this will be evident.

Alexander will wear Kotelnik down and finish him late.

    Alexander TKO 11

Cloud vs. Johnson has potential for fight of the year......both pressure fighters and I do not see this going the distance. Tough fight to pick....I can see Johnson's experience getting the better of Cloud's aggressive style but at some point Johnson's age and many wars is going to show in the ring.

    Cloud TKO 10

this card snuck up on me.

Devon is a really talented guy and Kotelnik is a great opponent for him (tough, smart, skilled vet on the downside and lacking pop). I think that this probably looks a lot like the Khan-Kotelnik fight.

I haven't seen Cloud fight yet and so I am looking forward to that...

I'm really hoping this match gets made. I think Alexander beats Bradley. When fighting Abregu, Bradley seemed to put too much power behind his right hand and kept getting off balance (perhaps to compensate for a seeming lack of KO power). I think Alexander can take advantage of this and counter Bradley into a late round KO.

Will this be a triple header with the re-broadcast of Diaz vs JMM II?

Either way, it's a hot card.

I think they're only replaying last weekend's fight on HBO Latino.
