Realistically: Gaethje's ass spends more time on the canvas than Rembrandt, dome getting hopelessly peppered before an eventual sub in championship rounds. Probably R4. Basically, boiler plate Khabib stuff.

Hypothetically: Gaethje's mythological wrestling turns out to be real, he reality checks Khabib's estimations - not too unsimilar to Al Iquinta - Khabib takes a step back. But where Al had no plan B and specific prep for Khabib, Gaethje will bring the violence. 3 rounds in Khabib Time will morph into Adrenaline Dump Time, then Gas City Time, but, because of Gaethje's lack of interest in submissions and Khabib's fresh chin, it will be a Gaethje/Tony resembling one way stand up street and Khabz gets stopped on the feet in late Round 5. Or it goes to a brutal decision.

Round 2 Justin comes out tired and a more reckless, recognizing that he needs to hurt Khabib something fierce before he gets taken down again. He has mild success but ultimately leaves himself open to another takedown. Khabib goes to work, Gaethje exposes his back, RNC, and still

Round 1: First four minutes of the round is standing up, nothing significant. Khabib takes Gaethje down in the last minutes, gets off a couple of shots

Round 2: Entirety of round spent on feet with Khabib either holding Justin on the fence , when on the feet, Justin lands a few significant shots

Round 3: Gaethje lands multiple significant shots, Khabib is bleeding from the nose. It appears that the fight is going Justin's way

Round 4: 2:05 of the round Gaethje lands an uppercut and its a walk off KO. Bye bye unbeaten streak.

GSP is commentating for RDS, looks stunned and his wishes for a fight with Khabib is done. Gaethje challenges GSP for a fight.

Imo it will be pretty much like the Poirier fight, but Gaethje is strong enough to land that KO in the early rounds. If it goes to the championship rounds, I don't see Khabib losing

If we heard the fight would end in an early 2nd-round finish most would have guessed it meant Gaethje won it by KO. Even Khabib fans didn't expect Khabib would only need a few mins to get it done
