At about 7:30 of this match Roger gets both hands under Margarida's bottom shoulder, lifts the shoulder and hip bumps, and then turns away from Margarida to start the escape.

The few escapes that I know from side mount typically involve turning towards your opponent. The only one I have seen that is somewhat similar is Saulo's running escape.

I am hoping someone can post an instructional of this particular escape, or at least provide some details on the finer points.

I am a white belt, so I apologize in advance if this is a basic escape that I am just not familiar with.

Definitely some similar principles there. Great video for an overall escape strategy too.

Basically a 'running escape' that turns into an overhook spin-out as Margarida tries to follow and attack Roger's top arm.

At about 3:20 he goes over something similar.
