Wait, I had no idea they had an interim heavy weight title match. Why on earth would they? Stipe is a very active fighter...I don't get it..unless it's a joke.. I don't remember lewis every winning an interim belt.

He was joking around.

Basically, he did some post fight interviews with a belt after he beat Travis Browne, told Karyn Bryant (among others) that he "felt like an interim champ".
