Overeem doesn't have superior technique? Overeem can't knock him out? Are you insane?Except that my hypothetical was about Derrick Lewis fighting Overeem, so...no.
I would absolutely put money on Derrick Lewis at this point in their careers. No way Overeem doesn't get caught, and we know his chin is glass by now. That's a horrible fight for him.Overeem doesn't have superior technique? Overeem can't knock him out? Are you insane?
Yeah I know but his offense is still there. It's why I'd never bet on an Overeem fight. If he lands the knee before they get through his defense... and Derrick's defense isn't the most technical so yeah...I would absolutely put money on Derrick Lewis at this point in their careers. No way Overeem doesn't get caught, and we know his chin is glass by now. That's a horrible fight for him.
I ate pizza that was 4 days old from the garbage can once. I got drunk and pulled the box out of the garbage and ate the last 2 slices. Was good. You don't know how long I let milk sit in my refrigerator.
I'm gross.
Even though Overeem has posted about 3 times on his Instagram calling out Derrick...
Get past the your task this weekend, the guy Overeem KO'd a couple fights back.
The real question is: Why do you keep 2 or more gallons if you only consume from the newest one?Why would Lewis want to fight Overeem anyway. That's like drinking the oldest gallon of milk in your refrigerator.
I like Lewis and Reem, but it’s LAUGHABLE to think Reem turned anybody down...
Werdum, Stipe, Brock, Ngannou, JDS, Prime Chuck, Lil Nog, Kharitonov, etc.
Ubereem would have ran over him.Reem's been KO'd 15 times, if Lewis landed a bomb on him at any stage of his career he'd go down.
Overeem actually requested this match up a couple months ago. This would be another match up where Alistair should win but could end up getting nailed by a big shot.
I know I'm not the only one who never feels completely comfortable in picking Overeem to win lol.
as DC said, everyone is strong at HW,Overeem is a favorite but shit happens easy in heavyweight category.
i wouldn't mind seeing Lewis vs Blaydes. Lewis is good at getting up and Blaydes doesn't have the submission attack to stop him from doing so. i'm sure Blaydes can hold him down for a while, but i wouldn't bet on him holding him down for all 3 rds. he nearly had a stroke trying to wrestlefuck Volkov who isn't exactly known for being great on the ground.
on the feet Lewis has a clear advantage. Blaydes has the size to clip him there too, but he lacks the confidence.
I don't know. If he is smart, he can set himself up for a title shot. He needs 1 or 2 wins, luck and great timing. He just has to hope Ngannou gets the next shot within 6 months.Overeem has called out Lewis recently so this is probably a lie.
Overeem hasn't fought up the rankings since his fight with Werdum. He's literally like the exact last person who would do this.
