Forgive my ignorance but what is the history between Mousasi and Belfort and what makes you think they'd be willing to put that fight on the Fight Pass prelims? Mousasi/Brunson was on Fight Pass. I still feel like Sage's fight should be on Fight Pass and I'm even a Sage fan. I feel like Sanchez/Lauzon should have been on the FS1 prelims. But that's just me.

He has a cult following, if you will. I mean he was on the Fight Pass prelims it isn't like they were putting a spotlight on him. Mousasi on the prelims of any card is insane.

Mousasi would have likely beat Bisping and Bisping never would have became champ. Crazy that he is champ when so many other MWs would be favorites against him.

The more i think about it, this is justice cause Gegard Mousasi headlining ppv prelims is laughable...dont care how big card is.
He just dismantled the same fighter who ,arguably, beat Bisping a few fights ago.Gegard needs to go on a verbal tirade on Bisping and insult everything he stands for.This happens and Mousasi would be next titleholder.

Mousasi has campaigned a fight with Belfort since the Affliction days but Belfort continues to deny him each time. I forgot the specific reasons Belfort has given but he's clearly not want that fight. As far as them being on prelims, assuming Belfort would accept, I'm sure the UFC could easily rearrange their slot onto the main card
