Just 21-days removed from his last fight, Dequan ‘2Chainz’ Townsend (trueee) steps in as a replacement on a week’s notice for an injured Gadzhimurad Antigulov.

He’s set to face Jon Jones training partner and punching bag, LHW Devin ‘Face First’ Clark this Saturday in New Mexico.

It's a great way for him to save his contract and if he does win he will get another chance in the UFC. His last two fights showed me an amateur. I believe Clark will do him the same way Bevon Lewis did him.

Nah, Dequan got outpointed by a one-legged Bevon. Didn't take that much damage from what I recall, besides a scare early I think.

Devin should be able to grind out a decision I think.

Yep, he did lose a child. He also won a lawsuit against a local hospital, I think Sparrow, and got a ton of cash from it. Not that it makes up for the loss of a child, but I would think he was financially secure based on that and the

I've known that guy for quite a while--since 2008 or something--and I never heard about him being a nurse. Used to being one of the grappling coaches at the gym he trained at I don't remember that ever being mentioned. I saw him with a very fetching female nurse once, but that's the closest I can recall. But hey, I certainly don't know everything about the guy.

To his credit, Townsend has now taken all three of his UFC fights on very short notice, in two different weight-classes. Shame he's going 0-3 and getting cut though.
