I dont get the Ortiz age obsession. Doesnt seem like near as big of a deal as people pretend.

Getting punched in the face for a living tends to do some damage to your appearance.

All the Cuban boxers are pretty old. They spent most of their lives in the amateurs winning medals and titles there. Arguably more prestige in it anyways, even if not nearly the same amount of fame.

got wilder but ortiz will for sure have his moments unless wilder has improved leaps and bounds

How old is Ortiz? He looks older than come back Foreman. If I had to guess, he's in his high 40's, low 50's.

some boxers just dont age well like 29-year-old riddick bowe

This is a perfect mini gif of him as a fighter. goes from normal to INSANITY SAVAGE WINDMILLS OF DEATH instantly
Word. His 1-2 plus the windmill might actually kill someone.

I think Wilder blitzes him and takes him out early.
Wilder will put that straight right through Ortiz guard and break his face with the follow up.

Ortiz will likely try to fight like Stiverne did the first go around shelling up and looking to counter. Cant see wanting to go and trade leather early and often. He might be sloppy as shit sometimes but Wilder can slip a hell of a punch really quickly.

That's probably the best strategy for him, if he starts boxing for too long with Ortiz he'll probably find his rhythm and counter him.
If he beats him it's a legit top 5 win for Wilder, Ortiz is a good southpaw with a 84 inch reach who can box and has power, by today's standarts he's a legit top 5 fighter.

not so sure. the cuban has never really been hurt and duahapus, spilka and molina took a lot of wilders shots before getting stopped.

imo, if ortiz has granite he is going to withstand wilders onslaught and eventually catch deontay and ktfo because i think wilder is packing glass. stiverne said before his first fight with deontay that there were reports of him getting badly hurt in sparring

he couldve been an uppercut away form being in serious trouble here

Ortiz has never fought anyone to test it out either.

Do you doubt Wilder’s power? There are times he has blatantly played in the ring and still destroyed the person across from him. Duhaupas being the prime example.

I dont think Wilder can take Ortiz’ power either. If heavyweights are landing someone is usually getting knocked out. Thats all there is to it really. As far as being made of glass, Wilder ate everything Stiverne put on him and was never fazed so I do think its an exaggeration to say hes got a glass chin.

they claimed that stiverne went to the hospital in the first fight for the same problems that dos santos had in the velasquez fight

i think luis win over jennings, since he was sick leading up to the fight, is better than anything on wilders record

Stiverne got the shit kicked out of him. Thats why he went to the hospital. Not the first time that a fighter who got their ass beat was diagnosed with rhabdo.

Jennings isnt any better whatsoever.
