I actually think this would be a great fight. Bermudez is a very tought match-up for Frankie. A lot of the losses of Bermudez are fights where he was clearly winning but got sucked into a brawl, take for example the Stephens fight. I think he could be top 5 if he fights smart. His wrestling and striking could cause problems for Frankie, he's very well rounded, just like Edgar. It could be fireworks.

Chad was a tougher matchup for Frankie and arguably the toughest non Aldo matchup for him in the division and he got KOd in da furs.

Frankie eradicates that jaw of Dennis which is questionable (Dennis doesnt have a glass chin or anything but hes been dropped by a Lamas jab, Hayden, Grice, Brandao, Stephens twice (nothing to be ashamed of specially that knee he took), would prolly win FOTN tho and Frankies chin seriously cant last much longer

    Good rebound match for Frankie.

His pace overwhelms Bermudez though. Edgar via UD in a 3 rounder or TKO in a 5 rounder.

I tend to agree with TS. Ronny Jason is a tough dude and he looked really good for the most part. Ricardo Lamas and Jeremy Stephens both deserve a lot of credit for defeating Bermudez, but I feel that he's the type of fighter that is a tough dude to stifel if he sticks to his gameplan and doesn't stand and trade in the pocket. I feel that Frankie Edgar is a little bit better that him in just about every area, but I'd love for Bermudez to have a chance to prove me wrong. Frankie Edgar isn't the dude that many featherweights ever call out either so I respect his ambition. Also not exactly related, but I urge anyone who hasn't seen it yet to watch his fight against Matt Grice -- it was the fight of the year when it happened in my opinion.

Yet i would watch no doubt, its a huge step up for him, and a nice rebound name for Edgar.

That video needs to be continously posted on a regular basis. But please man, don't timestamp it. It's much better when you watch the whole thing through! Bermudez is a badass.

On topic, it would be a great fight. Good fight for both. Bermudez wins, he gets the shot or a title eliminator, Franke wins and he's right at the top again.

Rooting for Bermudez, but like both guys!

He can and probably will have Edgars feet over his head. Dennis is a better version of Maynard.

Yes please, makes sense to do it as part of the MSG card since they're both from the area. I got Bermudez for the upset

Not too interested in that fight. Rather Frankie gets Jeremy or Max.
