I can't wait til the cruisers get some action going....I've been secretly watching lebedev's last few fights and admiring from afar....guy's a bottom-line individual, seemingly. Looks brawler-ish, but the trained eye will see that he is quite an effective counterpuncher, and controls distance perfectly: Usually fighting guys taller than he is, always leaves enough distance to avoid opponents' punches, but stays close enough to get in with jabs...and once he's in, he goes to work...rarely lets himself get smothered while there.

I was thinking the exact same thing after watching some of his fights.

Also, he never just tests with that left straight/hook. When he throws it he's trying to plaster the guy. gotta respect that.

I pretty much agree with you.
I did like what I saw in his fight with E. Mendoza. Granted, Mendoza was coming up from light heavy.... but Flores was landing meaningful shots.

But again, your point stands. Flores needs to show something.
