Maia is a beast.

He got countered by Shields, who is probably the most technical wrestler at 170.

Rory has looked passive and wimpy in his last few outings.

I think Maia will get a hold of Rory and not let go. He'll swallow him up in his BJJ control and sub him.
 
rory is a pretty bad matchup for maia imo too , hes hard to take down and keeps alot of distance makng it harder to get taken down

but then again half the time rory is a statue so if you pick your nose your outpointing him

I think Maia will swallow Rory but he won't like the taste. It will be his fist that Maia swallows. He'll gulp em down.

However.. see Silva v Maia for a good forcasting of how this will go wrong for Maia.

I hope so. It might light a fire under Rory to realize he's not getting close to a title shot any time soon if he keeps up his new pointfighting strategy after 2 consecutive losses.
