Demetrious Johnson is the true GOAT. All other "GOAT" are questionable.

Fedor, dude has hid from top competition for years. Refuses to sign with the UFC. Refuses to compete where the USADA wolves are hunting.

GSP, quits right before USADA got big. Wins a controversal decision against Johny LOL Hendricks.

Anderson Silva, already been caught with roids, brutally knocked out in humiliating fashion.

Jon Jones, again caught using roids.

Jose Aldo gets KOed clean by Conor McGregor, who couldn't even strike with... Nate Diaz.

DJ has been the most consistent champion, fighting in the USADA era, has not yet been in able trouble, with a single loss to Dominick Cruz, who is up there with being GOAT to.

When it comes to entertainment factor, I would rather watch Joanna or Miesha Tate fight because DJ is a snoozefest bathroom break. But objectively speaking, he has the best record and performance in USADA era.

I agree that he's the GOAT. Couldn't disagree more about him being boring.

GSP din't quit because of USADA....
he was lobbying for testing at the time

Mighty Mouse deserves more credit for sure!

In order to be considered GOAT people actually have to be interested in watching your fights, and people just aren't interested in DJ. So no, he fails to ever be the GOAT.

He retired before USADA was even being talked about by anyone other than him. USADA was implemented a year and a half after GSP retired.

But hey, why look at facts when making shit up is so much more fun?

Fedor - Consenus #1 of his division for 6 years with 19 victories during his championship reign
Anderson - Consensus #1 of his division for 6 years 15 victories during his championship reign
GSP - Consensus #1 of his division for 6 years with 11 victories during his championship reign
Jones - Consensus #1 of his division for 5 years with 10 victories during his championship reign
Aldo - Consensus #1 of his division for 5 years with 10 victories during his championship reign
Mighty Mouse - Consensus #1 of his division for 4 years with 9 victories during his championship reign

Johnson is clearly a step below at this stage of the game. He's in the Ronda Rousey tier.

USADAs been at it for 2 years now. If more stringent testing was what he wanted, why hasn't he came back within the last 2 years? This guy is MMA's Lance Armstrong.

Guy is the size of a grade school kid, as are the people he's beaten.

It's apples and oranges in opinion. He's fighting guys that are far below the average size men. It's comparable to people who called Rousey the GOAT.

Steroids cancel out 2 of those arguments. Losses to journeymen cancels out two more. And GSP has not been active in the only era that matters, the USADA era baby.

Flyweight has an incredibly shallow talent pool. DJ is only 13cm away from being medically qualified as a dwarf.

Fedor is the official universal GOAT, no matter how many times you guys say otherwise. :p

But he is also the only one still going strong......

Conor would finish him stiff, like he would to everyone else.

You get don't points for things you might do in the future.

The way MMA is going he'll be knocked out his next fight anyway.

Then you should get points deducted for taking banned substances, so 2 of your top 4 are eliminated (pending confirmation on Jones).

Sorry but Mouse isn't anywhere on the level of Aldo or Jones, much less Fedor, GSP or Silva.

He's getting there but don't drink the Kool Aid from the UFC, who is trying to promote him as a means of legitimizing the shitty Flyweight division. He's not the best P4P fighter ever and certainly not the best fighter ever. He may one day if he retires without another loss after a long and storied career, but frankly that's a big if.
