I use cast iron for most everything. I've got a large skillet and a Dutch oven , I can bake everything from cobbler to chickens, casseroles ECT. Sautee veggies , pancakes , bacon and eggs or even burgers from time to time. I've also migrated away from plastic/Tupperware stuff for leftovers and use glass now. We switched over to glass baby bottles for our youngest/last kid.
I've got a sneaking suspicion that people in 50 years are gonna look back at our current wrap everything in plastic practices in mocking condescension. Similar to how the once common practice of using lead to solder cans of food seems to us now.
