Dedé Pederneiras, Jose Aldo's trainer and the man in charge the the Nova União team in Brazil has hit out at the UFC over their drug testing policy.

Despite the fact that a number of stars have been flagged for violations in recent weeks, Pederneiras wants to see stricter tests applied across the board to all athletes in the build up to fights.

Pederneiras, who is very close with his star fighter Aldo, singled out Conor McGregor for criticism, stating that he had offered to pay for regular tests to be performed on both his fighter and the Irishman ahead of their meeting at UFC 194.

Speaking to Brazilian MMA website Combate, Pederneiras said that he wants to see how McGregor deals with the difficult weight cut to fight to 145lbs, and that his offer to ensure both fighters were tested three times a week was rejected.

"Conor went two months and two days without being tested before the fight with Aldo," claimed Pedrneiras, "and I was asking, asking, and asking but nothing was done."

While he acknowledged that both fighters were tested four times, he states that it was only in the last two to three weeks, when he McGregor was already in Los Angeles for the fight, while "Aldo was tested in the right way."

"I'm telling and challenging his trainer - test Conor seriously, I want to see if he makes weight."

However, he tempered his words by noting that "I can't accuse anyone without having certainty. It would be frivolous to accuse someone without being certain. But, at the very least, it's strange."

According to the official USADA page for the UFC, McGregor was tested a total of eight times in 2015, while Combate point out that Aldo had the same number of tests in the same timeframe.

It's not "UFC drug testing" anymore, Dede.

Conor went two months without
being tested leading up to their
fight?

Cliffs please?

I'm not clicking on that POS link.

Isn't Conor like one of the most tested fighters on the roster?

No, Dede is lying. He claims that Aldo was tested "properly" but McGregor wasnt.. their test strategy was the same.

Aww, why bring facts into a thread?! Any link that you have to take a survey to see the page is fact worthy itself, right?

- Sarcams, folks!

Interesting that 1 of Aldo's tests says 'void'. What would cause that, and why wouldn't they re-test?

As I recall, it wasn't Conor who 'accidentally' spilled his piss.

Is this trolling like Aldo with the spy? Make shit up and see how people respond? Good for the forum.
