Deadlift Form Check

    Posted this and a couple other vids in my log here:

    But I havent gotten any response so i wanted to get some feedback before i tried pulling 315+. I feel like its getting better but I notice that my hips rise first before anything else moves. Whats up with that?

    Seems like your hips start too low.

    Also, your legs are locking out way to early.

    I think your hips starting low causes your knees to be over the bar too much and prevents from getting in a good start position.

    Seems like your shoulders are even with the bar or slightly behind I can't tell from this angle. Again, if your hips are higher you could get in a better position with your shoulders over the bar.

    There's this video on the deadlift setup. See if it helps you find that "sweet spot" where your hips aren't to high or too low.

    your shoulders should be ahead of the bar at the start position judging from your body type
