DDP has no chance against Khamzat right?

Basically going 1-0-1 with Sean Strickland, and beating past prime Brunson, Izzy and Whittaker makes you GOAT MW. Haters will say otherwise.
I don't remember Whittaker being past prime until DDP beat him. In retrospective Izzy probably has him beat, but a win over Khamzat would put distance between him and Weidman/Rockhold

seems to be the consensus?
Have heard basically the opposite. I think it's a competitive first round, but DDP is able to survive and even be competitive in the grappling. After that DDP takes over and potentially even stops Khamzat, he striking is much much better.

It seems they both have legendary chins, and I hope we see this in their fight. I am going for Khamzat; he needs this for his career, and for some reason, I've liked him more since he got glasses. DDP seems to think he is more clever than he actually is when it comes to PR and his image, and for some reason, I want to see him get mauled. Unfortunately, if DDP wins, he will be up there with the best to ever do it in that division, and I think he will move up, which will further complicate things.

He went life and death with a beefed up 155lb fighter, ditto short notice usman. But DDP has no chance?

Da Fuck Outta Here With that Garbage.

Exactly. His hardest fights have been with a former LW and an old fighter with no knees fighting on short notice.

The DDP fight is 50/50 in my view and whoever wins will deserve props.

Not sure where TS got that this is a « consensus », but I actually got DDP winning this.

Chimaev’s biggest win at 185 is a washed up welterweight in Usman, and it was a competitive fight.

Wait until you see DDP next to Khamzat, and how much bigger he’ll be. This sure is a really intriguing matchup, though.

I see it as Khamzat either gets it done in round 1-2 or DDP takes him to rounds 3-5 and drowns him.

I’m a huge Khamzat fan, but DDP is a tank. If Khamzat doesn’t get him out of there in a few rounds it’s over. Burns and Usman have him hell, DDP is huge with a big gas tank.

Difficult fight for gambling, but khazmat winning would be bad for business. Guy never works anymore. Imagine him as champ?
