There are a lot of threads on sherdog about complaining about DC's fighting style. There are hordes of Rumble Fans who are upset that DC pushed him against the fence, dumped him on the ground and smashed him up. The Rumble fans keep pointing out that DC is known for this style of fighting and that he uses it to wear down his opponent enroute to a victory, almost like he's cheating by fighting in this style
It may seem that this style of fighting is being unfairly used by DC but I want to let sherdoggers know that the DC Grinding Style isn't unbeatable. There is a fighter by the name of Jon Jones who was able to avoid being ground down by DC. When DC pushed clinched Jones he couldnt toss him to the ground. When DC had Jones against the cage, this fighter Jones spun DC around and had DC against the cage. You might not believe this but DC even ran out of energy and was dumped on the ground several times and there was not much he could do to stop it
So, take heed sherdoggers. We saw Rumble Crumble last night but there is a fighter out there who can outgrind DC.
