The only thing that SLIGHTLY worries me is how Volkan knocked out Manuwa and Circunov while pushed against the fence in the clinch. Is this a position that Oezdemir has weird awkward power in? Cormier will most definitely put him there, will Oezdemirs little clinch punches do something to Daniel who’s last fight was not only his first knockout loss, but a brutal one. These are the questions I ask but I feel like Cormier will probably pick him up and throw him into the nosebleed seats.

Volkan has a half decent puncher's chance. I don't see a process oriented win for him other than landing one big hook or uppercut. If Dc avoids getting hit cleanly with power punches he should win no problem. If he has slowed a bit more or the Jones KO cracked his chin he could easily get hurt by Oezdemir.

as a DC fan, volkan's power makes me a little nervous and we still don't really know if he's elite or not.

and honestly i don't even know if i'm sold on his power yet. (manuwa is chinny and the cirkunov punch just seemed like it could have been one of those weird flukey " perfect spot " punches)


but i'm pretty sure that if DC gets his hands around him the fight is done.

I think Cormier takes this one fairly easily.....it is going to look like Khabib vs Barboza except Cormier gets the sub in the second or third.....

Volkans ground game is not on the same plane as DC's.....
