DC vs Romero

What would the potential mma match look like?
Wrestling: DC has lost 6 times to Cael Sanderson, Romero has beaten Sanderson twice and lost one bout.
Size: well obviously Daniel is super heavy at 250 pounds, Romero would be giving up some 60 pounds, but they could agree to meet at 206.2 pounds, if Daniel could make one more weight cut.
Age: Daniel is getting old at 40 now, while Romero is just hitting prime at 42.
Power: DC has decent power for a fat guy, while Romero has one punch knock out power even in the 5th round.
Chin: both have show great chin, with one exception.
Cardio: strangely enough, the fat guy has great cardio, while the small and more athletic guy gasses out quickly.
Speed: DC is deceptibly fast for a fat guy. Romero is super explosive and on another level.
Gameplan: DC wears out guys with wrestling while Romero is waiting for the right moment and going for the kill.

Who takes it?

How is 40 getting old, and 42 hitting your prime?

Romero doesn’t have the balls to go to LHW. Cormier is never going back down. If it happened Romero would get smoked.
 
Romero gasses hard when he grapples, that's why he doesn't try to wrestle as much anymore. DC would just wear him down, similar to the AJ fight. At heavyweight with neither fighter having to cut weight, DC might even knock him out too. Romero probably walks around 220 - 230 anyways
 
lol at anyone that even suggest romero has a chance. romero will get mauled and I love him. Puncher's chance? not even that would work. he would get outworked, out landed, outhit and totally demolished.
DC will wear on him and pressure till romero falters.

It doesn't make much sense for Romero to go to LHW full time, since Jones is out of prison now. Just this one time, for the fat guy :)

Romero toyed with Weirdman and Rockhold, both great wrestlers/grapples. What makes you think DC can wear ROmero down in half round?
Also DC's fighting shape now is 250, which means he walks at 290 these days.

Their were no grappling exchanges between Luke and Romero as far as I can remember. Weidman when he was already slowing down, actually took Romero down but couldn't control him on the ground and Romero regained control. DC's a whole different beast. He's implemented his wrestling game in mma far more effectively than Romero has. Romero is scary sure but look at the Ls he's taken in his career along with the other times he looked vulnerable. DC has only looked beatable against Jones, you think Romero is gonna intimidate him and knock him out? Get real
