DC vs Brock was clearly scripted. How does Brock coming in to the cage if Stipe wins?

DC is a pro wrestling guy but Stipe was favored going in to tonight. What was the plan if the odds won out and Stipe won?

I can't picture Stipe getting into a war of words and a pushing match

Either way Brock was still going to get on the mic and call people a POS.

It was semi-scripted I think. I don’t think DC knew he’d shove him like that and I lmao when he said get out of my octagon I got pictures to take.

That picture comments and Brock listening to me made me think the whole thing was "ha ha we are going to be rich" between the two.

I would have had more zingy lines to tell Brock. After he pushes me, I say after I'm done with Brock he's going to be flat on his back screaming in pain, while his wife sable will be flat on HER back screaming MY NAME!

Long awkward pause with no eye contact with each other, and one of them just starts pressing away on his phone

If Stipe won it would have been the exact same outcome. Brock would have come in the octagon, pushed Stipe and cut a promo. Nothing would have changed.

If Stipe won and he didn't call out Brock he would have been the dumbest MMA fighter in history.

Probably for the best that DC won

Steeopic's call out would have been ass

Stipe probably didn't have a scripted promo planned and he would probably get real if Brock pushed him

Brock would have still come into the cage and talked shit. Don't know about the shoving part - DC and Brock are friends, so Lesnar knew Cormier would take that in stride - but he'd get in his face nonetheless and challenge him to a title fight later in the year.

Dana needs to admit that the whole Brock "Pushgate" incident looked scripted, but wasn't (I really hope it wasn't). It was Brock being Brock. We all saw how "WWE" it looked and it was the most cringeworthy UFC moment ever. I would love to see DC and Brock get it on (even though Brock doesn't deserve it), but not how it went down tonight. That or he could just admit it was completely scripted and UFC is dead. Ha just kidding. But seriously, Dana has some serious damage control to do after tonight's HW tilts.

It would have either been really mild and awkward or Brock simply wouldn't have entered the cage.

If you don't think there as a "discussion"...

Course UFC is not so smart so may have been fly by night concept and execution..

DC would have been a "POS" instead. the fact that no one pushed back on that after praising Stipe should tell you why they weren't hyping him in fights past and are probably happy he lost.

That shit made me question the legitimacy of the ufc.

Shit is getting downright pathetic.

dana just said regardless who won, brock was coming in to challenge them

What do you mean DC is a pro wrestling guy, he enjoys WWE as an adult?
