In spite of DC fighting for the HW title this weekend and Cain being probably done do you see him being capable of winning title and them defending it 4 times to also set a new record, current one is 3 if im not wrong? I might be talking stupidity because DC himself probably doesnt see him fighting that many fights in his career but you never know we have seen tike and time again that fighters just dont know to quit.

Jones and Bork are both winable fights for him in Hw division and fights he wants to have so if he would in theory beat them both he is half way done allready

If he wins I think he rides off into the sunset since he finally has something he can hold over Jones, who was too scared to move up to the weight his frame was meant to fight at.

He's planning to retire at 40, not possible in that timeframe.

Blaydes beats dc. Too big, better mma wrestler. More powerful with same chin.

If he stays true to his idea of retiring before 40, there really is no way he can have so many fights between here and next March. It is also definitely not a given that he beats Stipe, JJ or even Brock.

Better MMA Wrestler? Please explain why you think that.
1. DC doesn't have great tdd (Almost all of Jones' opponents stuffed more takedowns than dc did, also got taken down twice by gus and by rumble)
2. DC couldn't get nelson or mir down consistently. Overeem has better tdd than both of those guys and blaydes ragdolled him.

Dc mixes wrestling with boxing very well but blaydes plays the same game but is younger, fresher, and most importantly....has at least 20lbs of muscle on cormier.

Ok fair enough.

Unfortunately, but the amount of work the mans put in a decade speaks volumes, DC deserves to ride off into the sunset at this point. Nobody to pass the torch onto in the LHW in my honest opinion, because nobody can hold a candle to him. You could argue Jones, but Jones is being Jon Jones so we all know how that's working for him.

Win or Lose DC will go down as one of the greats and be a Hall of Famer, this fight is nothing more than a celebration and a treat for all the work he put in for the last decade. Holding it down and showing what it means to be a true model champion.

DC Bless.

Well said. DC Bless.

Yea but its not a good argument. Anderson Silva dominated Middleweight at 6'2". Jon Jones dominated Light Heavyweight at 6'4". Should Anderson have moved to LHW because he was 6'2" or was his best fighting weight 185? Height doesn't have a lot to do with this. You can't say Jones is ducking HW because he is 6'4". Its just not a good argument, his best fighting weight is 205.

Why not. He would change his camp to American Top Team and ask their nutritionist Soldier of God for advice. He could probably retire at the age of 45

He said multiple times that he has 2/3 fights left and he is retiring at 40.

The real question is... how stupid are you?

He already broke Stipe's record. He has 4 defenses, while Stipe has only 3!

I think Stipe beats him, but even if DC wins, I'd be shocked if he stuck around for 4 title defences. He's said he doesn't want to fight after 40. Sure, a ton of fighters have a hard time staying retired, but I don't think DC will be one of them. He'll try for the title, and maybe have 1 defence before hanging them up.
